Creating a campaign

Learn how to create your first cold email campaign in Outlio. This guide walks you through the entire process from naming your campaign to launching it.

What is a Campaign?

A campaign in Outlio is a collection of email sequences sent to a list of leads. Each campaign has its own settings, schedule, and sending accounts. You can run multiple campaigns simultaneously for different audiences or offers.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Navigate to Campaigns

From your Outlio dashboard, click on Campaigns in the left sidebar.

Sidebar → Campaigns
2

Click "New Campaign"

Click the New Campaign button in the top right corner to create a new campaign.

3

Name your campaign

Give your campaign a descriptive name that helps you identify it later. Include the target audience, offer, or date for easy reference.

Good naming examples:

  • • "SaaS Founders - Product Demo - Jan 2025"
  • • "Agency Owners - SEO Services"
  • • "E-commerce - Abandoned Cart Recovery"

After creating the campaign, you'll need to set up the following:

  • Sequences: Write your email steps
  • Leads: Upload your prospect list
  • Schedule: Set sending times and days
  • Accounts: Select which email accounts to use
5

Launch your campaign

Once everything is configured, click the Start Campaign button to begin sending emails according to your schedule.
