Import your prospect list into Outlio using a CSV file. Map your columns to our fields and start sending campaigns in minutes.
Before uploading, make sure your CSV file has a header row with column names. At minimum, you need an email column. Additional columns become variables you can use in your emails.
| firstName | lastName | companyName | title | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sarah@acme.com | Sarah | Johnson | Acme Inc | CEO |
| mike@techco.io | Mike | Chen | TechCo | CTO |
Open your campaign and click on the Leads tab.
Click the Upload CSV button and select your file from your computer.
Match your CSV columns to Outlio's fields. We'll auto-detect common column names, but you can adjust the mapping if needed.
Review the preview to make sure everything looks correct, then click Import to add the leads to your campaign.
Your leads are now in the campaign and ready to receive emails when you launch.
Outlio automatically checks for duplicate email addresses within the campaign. If you try to upload a lead that's already in the campaign, it will be skipped. You'll see a summary of how many duplicates were found after import.
Before uploading, remove any invalid email addresses, test emails, or competitors from your list. Sending to bad addresses hurts your sender reputation and deliverability.
Any additional columns in your CSV become custom fields that you can use as variables in your emails. For example, if you have a column called "industry", you can use {{industry}} in your email templates.
