Recommended workflow in Outlio
Collect SMTP host, SMTP port, IMAP host, IMAP port, username, and app password.
Choose Add SMTP Account.
Enter the provider settings exactly as shown by the mailbox host.
Send a test connection request.
Save the account and verify replies can sync.
Quality checks
- Common SMTP ports are 465 for SSL and 587 for TLS.
- Common IMAP ports are 993 for SSL.
- Use app passwords when the provider has two-factor authentication enabled.

- Using a webmail password when the provider requires an app password.
- Mixing SMTP from one provider with IMAP from another unless you know the mailbox routing.
