4

Sign in to Microsoft

You'll be redirected to Microsoft's sign-in page. Enter your email address and password.

5

Grant Permissions

Microsoft will ask you to grant Outlio permission to access your account. Review the permissions and click Accept.

Outlio requests access to:

  • - Send mail as you
  • - Read your mail
  • - Access your mailbox settings

Done!

You'll be redirected back to Outlio and your Microsoft account will appear in the Email Accounts list.

Real-time Reply Detection

Microsoft accounts support real-time push notifications. When someone replies to your campaign email, Outlio will automatically detect it and update your Unibox within seconds.

Office 365 Business Accounts

If you're using an Office 365 business or enterprise account, your IT administrator may need to approve third-party app access.

Admin Consent May Be Required

If you see an error about needing admin approval, your organization has restricted third-party apps.

Solution: Contact your IT admin to approve Outlio in Azure Active Directory, or use SMTP/IMAP connection instead.

Troubleshooting

"Need admin approval" error
Your organization requires admin consent for third-party apps. Ask your IT administrator to approve Outlio in the Azure portal under Enterprise Applications, or use SMTP connection as an alternative.
Account shows as "Disconnected"
This can happen if you changed your password or revoked app access. Delete the disconnected account from Outlio and reconnect it using the same steps.
Two-factor authentication issues
OAuth works with 2FA enabled. Complete the 2FA verification during sign-in as you normally would. If you have issues, make sure you're approving the sign-in request on your authenticator app or phone.
