Account health

Monitor the health and deliverability of your email accounts. Keep sender reputation high to ensure emails reach the inbox.

What is Account Health?

Account health reflects your email account's sender reputation and deliverability. Healthy accounts have high inbox placement rates and low bounce/spam rates. Poor health leads to emails landing in spam or being blocked entirely.

Health Indicators

Healthy

Good

Low bounce rate (<2%), good open rates, no deliverability issues. Account is performing well.

Warning

Caution

Elevated bounce rate (2-5%), declining open rates, or minor issues detected. Take action to prevent further decline.

Critical

Action Required

High bounce rate (>5%), very low open rates, or account restrictions. Pause sending and address issues immediately.

Maintaining Account Health

Keep bounce rate low

Verify email addresses before sending. Remove invalid emails from your lists promptly.

Don't send too fast

Stay within reasonable daily limits. Sudden spikes in volume can trigger spam filters.

Configure DNS properly

Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records. These authenticate your emails and improve deliverability.

Monitor regularly

Check account health weekly. Catch issues early before they become serious problems.

Warning Signs

  • • Sudden drop in open rates
  • • Increase in bounce rate
  • • Recipients reporting spam
  • • Account temporarily restricted by provider

Recovering Account Health

  1. 1.Pause all campaigns using the affected account
  2. 2.Identify the cause (bad list, high volume, DNS issues)
  3. 3.Fix the underlying issue
  4. 4.Gradually resume sending at lower volumes
  5. 5.Monitor closely for improvement
