Squarespace DNS with Google Workspace

Configure Google records from Squarespace domains.

Overview

Squarespace domains can host DNS records needed by Google Workspace and Outlio.

Recommended workflow

1

Open Domains in Squarespace and choose DNS Settings.

2

Add Google MX records.

3

Add SPF as a TXT record.

4

Add Google DKIM as a TXT record.

5

Add DMARC and verify in Outlio.

Tips that make this work better

Tip

Check whether Squarespace is the actual nameserver provider.

Tip

Use the provider value exactly as Google gives it.

Tip

Wait before retesting because registrar UIs can cache.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Editing records in Google Workspace instead of the DNS host.
  • Missing DKIM because MX records already worked.

Done well, this should leave you with

A cleaner Outlio setup, fewer avoidable campaign issues, and a more reliable path from setup to replies.
