Overview

Recommended workflow

1

2

Add Google Workspace MX records under Mail Settings or custom records.

3

Add SPF as a TXT record for @.

4

Add Google DKIM as a TXT record for google._domainkey.

5

Add DMARC as a TXT record for _dmarc.

Tips that make this work better

Tip

Namecheap may use @ for the root host.

Tip

Remove conflicting old MX records if you moved from another provider.

Tip

Wait for TTL before retesting.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Leaving parking or forwarding MX records active.
  • Adding the full domain twice in the host field.

Done well, this should leave you with

A cleaner Outlio setup, fewer avoidable campaign issues, and a more reliable path from setup to replies.
