Recommended workflow in Outlio
Add or merge SPF with include:_spf.google.com.
In Google Admin, open Gmail authentication and generate a DKIM record.
Add the google._domainkey TXT record to DNS.
Start authentication in Google Admin.
Publish DMARC at _dmarc and verify in Outlio.
Quality checks
- Use 2048-bit DKIM keys when supported.
- If Start Authentication fails, wait for DNS propagation and check the host field.
- Do not delete existing SPF includes for other legitimate senders.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Adding the DKIM value as the host instead of the TXT value.
- Using the Google account login page instead of Google Admin for DKIM.
